◇ Summary
For relatives of this App there is an application for iPad with FLAT Weather Clock for iPad.
This iPhone App follows the basic design, but this App is written in the latest Swift, there are many weather information that can be acquired and it is displayed in various forms and there are many changes. The iPad has a narrow screen size, which is different from the more general usage of the iPhone with higher portability. One of the concepts of the iPad application is the clock side, but as the users frequently operates the iPhone and users can check the time by looking at the lock screen.
So the clock function becomes unnecessary. Just as it is contradictory to the name of the application, I implemented it so that the design can be displayed as it is. The clock function was scheduled to be implemented on the Apple Watch side, but due to the low degree of freedom in designing the UI, I implemented this kind of implementation.
◇ Feature
The iPad version packed various functions on one screen. There was little information volume and it was simple. In the iPhone version, I used several Tabs to display different information. I use almost all information obtained by weather information.
■ Current Weather
With Tab 1 you can view the weather of your location. In addition, you can check the clock function and the indicator of whether to bring an umbrella. So please allow this App to use your location service. By taping the + button at the bottom of the screen I have made it possible to display even more information. I have added a function that makes the map look slim behind the content. It can also be hidden from setting when it is not necessary.
■ Forecast for 16 days
With Tab 2 you can check the weather forecast for your location (max 16 days). Horizontal scroll can be done on a daily basis with card type UI, and vertical scrolling is possible for additional information part. Since it is forecast to the last, please trust the latest weather.
■ World Weather
I made it possible to check the weather of the world with Tab 3. Currently fixed data is available for 30 cities. I plan to implement it so that we can freely customize it in future updates. If you have any request please send me a mail from the feedback part of the setting.
■ Customize scale and time-mode
Tab 4 is a setting. You can select the display mode of your favorite scale and time on the internal setting screen. In the feedback, I made it possible to send a bug correction request and a function addition proposal by e-mail. I want to take care of user feedback. Please use all means.
◇ For Users
There is nothing special as a new technology except for the latest Swift. Obtaining location information and acquiring information via weather information acquisition API. It is the same as the iPad version, but I felt that I could improvethe internal model construction method and most of UI design.
